WotGig is an app for playing your own songs live. This page says what we store when you use it at wotgig.app and on Android.

Who we are

WotGig is operated by Paul Tew in Thailand. Questions: privacy@wotgig.com.

What we collect

What we do not do

We do not sell your songs. We do not sell ads against them. We do not scrape them for a public catalogue. Audio you upload is for your band libraries and the people you invite.

Processors

Google Firebase provides sign-in and library records; Google Cloud runs parts of the cloud service. Cloudflare provides file delivery and R2 file storage. Some older files remain in Firebase Storage. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google. Paid plans are billed by Google Play. This website loads its font from Google Fonts. The web app uses Google reCAPTCHA through App Check to verify cloud requests. We do not run a separate analytics product on this marketing site.

Retention and deletion

Library records and cloud files are kept to provide your library and shared access, subject to deletion requests and the trial, subscription and recovery rules in the Terms. Cancelling a subscription is not an account-deletion request. After the 60-day subscription grace period, cloud downloads require resubscription, including any retained songs. Local playback and export of local files remain available. Removing cloud files does not remotely erase copies already saved on your devices or a collaborator’s device.

Request account deletion

Email privacy@wotgig.com from your WotGig account address and ask to delete your account and associated data. Do not send your password. The same request option is in the app’s Settings under Privacy & account deletion. We verify the request before processing it; opening an email does not delete anything. Back up anything you need first. Tell us if you own a shared workspace so we can address its library and collaborators. Paul Tew handles requests and aims to acknowledge them within two working days; this is not a promise that deletion finishes within that time.

To prevent repeated claims of the one-time free allowance, our retention policy keeps a minimal pseudonymous record for 12 months after confirmed account deletion, without automatically extending that period. This record is separate from your songs and sign-in profile. Google Play handles its own payment records.

Deleted files in Firebase Storage remain recoverable by the service operator for seven days under the storage provider's recovery policy before permanent removal. They are not available through your library during that period.
