Terms of use

By using WotGig (the Android app, wotgig.app, and this site) you agree to these terms. A short plan summary is on Pricing.

The product

WotGig is operated by Paul Tew in Thailand. It is a tool for storing and playing your own songs. You are responsible for having the rights to audio, lyrics, and charts you upload or share with a band library.

Accounts and band libraries

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. The owner of a band library controls invites and who can edit or delete songs. One subscription funds one workspace created by its subscriber. Its members and devices share that workspace’s storage and download allowances. Joining it does not use or increase your personal workspace’s allowance. Collaborators do not need their own subscription to use its shared library within their permissions. Do not upload malware. Do not upload files you do not have rights to.

Availability

The service depends on Google, Cloudflare and your network. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Keep the songs you need tonight on the tablet you take to the venue.

Plans and files in the cloud

Headline prices are in US dollars. Google Play shows local currency and tax. Current offer:

We do not promise unlimited cloud storage. You bring your own files. We are not a streaming catalogue.

How you pay

Paid plans are sold through Google Play in the Android app once that billing is live. This website does not charge you. The browser cannot complete a Play purchase. Pay on Android, then choose the workspace the subscription funds. That workspace’s access also applies in the browser app.

Play handles tax, invoices, and “Manage subscription.” If Google refunds or cancels a purchase, paid features end when that paid time ends. We may take a short time to catch up with Play’s records.

If you never subscribe

A free account can host up to 6 songs in the cloud and use Follow this Stage for 60 days from when the account is created, subject to its one-time download allowance. After that cloud access ends and hosted files may be removed. Songs that are already on your devices stay in the library and still play. Paying later does not put deleted cloud files back.

If you stop paying

Cancelling in Play does not cut you off mid-period. You keep subscriber features until the time you already paid for runs out.

After that, audio in the cloud stays available for 60 days (Follow too). Then we keep up to 6 songs and 1 GB in the cloud (you can pick which; if you do not, we keep the most recently played that still fit). Extra cloud files may be deleted. Song titles, lyrics, chords, and other details stay as placeholders. Files you kept on your tablets are not deleted from those tablets. Paying again does not put deleted cloud files back — you add them again (or keep using what is still on the device).

After that 60-day grace period, cloud downloads require resubscription, even for the retained songs. You can still play and export files already on your device and export local library details. Keep your own backup; cloud retention does not promise indefinite storage.

Subscription-end recovery uses the files whose uploads were confirmed complete when the subscription ended. The workspace owner must activate recovery within the same 60-day grace period; starting later does not extend the deadline. Unfinished uploads are not added to that recovery copy later.

Liability

WotGig is provided as-is. We are not liable for a missed cue, a dropped set, or lost files beyond what the law requires. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose.
